Icons
Icons help tell Cloudflare stories. They are more literal than illustrations, and are meant to graphically assist their subject matter. Because of this purpose, they should always be simple and easy to understand. Icons are especially helpful when differentiating many points in one visual space, making the content easy to scan and read.
Getting started
- Review the Designing new Icons page to understand the standards we follow when developing our icons.
- When ready, add the new icon (in its editable form) to be reviewed to the Cloudflare Icons — Working File document.
- Once the new icon has been approved by two members of the review team*, they will add it to the Cloudflare Icons document and notify the author.
- After it has been added to the Cloudflare Icons document, follow the instructions on the Updating Icons page to understand how to add the icon to
component-iconso that it can be used in projects.
* As of Q3 2022, the review team members are: A, B, C, D, and E.
