Progress
A progress bar demonstrates where a user is in a multi-part experience or flow. It breaks down a flow into multiple steps to create small moments of success throughout a process, encouraging completion.

Use a progress bar to break up large flows or forms.
Users should be able to move forward to the next step in the flow after completing the current step. Users should be able to move back one or more steps and click on steps in the progress bar.
Group related content or actions together in each step.
Do not break up a flow into too many granular steps. Minimal steps with logically grouped content is the best way to break up a complex flow.
